MME is looking for a Marketing/Social Media Coordinator to join the Marketing team.

Ideal candidate is someone ambitious and eager to learn, interested in working in a very fast paced high energy startup. Our company is launching to market, and we’re looking for someone to provide assistance to our marketing campaigns – specifically digital media campaigns.

We are looking for candidates that are highly intelligent, capable, self-guiding individuals that would like to gain experience in the Medical Marijuana Industry and work alongside the best and brightest. We have an amazing team, consisting of experts in various fields and we are looking for someone that would benefit from industry experience. This person will be working directly with the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate should have previous social media experience and is familiar with all platforms on a personal and professional level. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about new media and the medicinal marijuana industry.

Requirements:

  • Past editorial/social media internship experience
  • Working knowledge of the following social media platforms:
  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Google+
  • Snapchat
  • Pinterest
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop * Plus: Experience with social management/scheduling tools such as HubSpot
  • Some Public Relations assistance: including content development and writing.
  • Some understanding of Google Analytics, CRM and Reporting
  • Efficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support social media team with trending story insights, and some knowledge of blogging
  • Working directly with the Marketing team to implement plans: including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market strategy insights.
  • Research: Discovery of strategic business opportunities through cross function collaboration with sales and marketing.
  • Provide product/service support to establish proper channels of information and communication.
  • Assistance with branding integrity, advertising, trade shows, company/industry events
  • Work cross-functionally with teams/vendors on video, editorial, and marketing to communicate timely content
  • Source photos, quotes, videos and other relevant content

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older. Ability to quickly familiarize with relevant state laws and patients’ rights. Candidate must have a dynamic personality and be a savvy networker/relationship builder with excellent written/verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent cannabis knowledge is strongly desired along with the ability to conduct personal research. Must be able to accurately explain all medical marijuana strains, infused products and methods of administering to patients. Strong computer operating skills required; including MS Office, photo editing software and Google Analytics. Must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug testing checks as well as obtain state-issued Medical Marijuana Establishment Agent Card upon acceptance of an employment offer. Candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on the demands of the business, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
