We are currently looking for an amazing candidate to fill a newly created role, Chief of Staff.
This role reports directly to our COO and serves as a right hand, a translator and has their eyes and ears on the business every day. They will bring a fresh and innovative perspective to the role while understanding and respecting that what works doesnt need to be fixed. This person is an excellent cultural fit charismatic and smart, humble and a great listener. They are a natural leader and have the ability to get down in the weeds one minute and then shift to a strategic conversation with the Executive team the next. They love to solve problems and challenge the status quo in a way that excites and enrolls people in the company. They love food and appreciate the role it plays in our experience and in the world.
This is a Management-in-training position with exposure across functions. Our intent is to have the successful candidate move to a management role within the organization in 12-24 months.
More specifically, they would:
Provide operational support to COO with a focus around commercial activity
Assist in strategic planning, analysis, presentations, budgeting
Primary exposure around selling / customer organization with cross-functional interaction
Administrative tasks include: report building, meeting preparation, follow-ups across the organization and internal alignment
Project-driven role with opportunity for ownership and direct impact
Working with 6+ members of the management team on a regular basis to ensure alignment, coordination and advancement of cross-functional projects
Develop corporate-wide communications and executing management team exercises
Requirements
3-5 years of work experience
MBA or related MS degree preferred
Very comfortable with external communication, customer interaction
Strong and dynamic presence in both leading and participating in internal meetings
Superior written and oral communication skills
Proficiency / mastery in Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task across departments
Passion for food / hospitality
Experience in research (qualitative and quantitative) preferred
Minimal travel required
