The General Manager provides daily leadership and coaching to motivate and engage the service delivery team. S/he executes the daily service to the collectives, serving routes and providing technical support to office staff. In addition, the General Manager trains staff, inspects service standards, provides technical support and covers routes as needed. It is important that the General Manager establish excellent and collaborative working relationships with drivers, collectives and staff.
MANAGEMENT:
Establishes the expectations for individual and team performance by facilitating performance review sessions; manages score-card performance discussions
Demonstrates commitment to talent management and staffing by participating in candidate interviews, hiring calibration sessions, and onboarding of new team members
Trains and coaches service representatives on proper service techniques via the service delivery model and on daily protocol via the drivers daily check-in procedures
Enforces and teaches safety standards; emphasizes accountability for safe delivery and driving behaviors
Collaborates with sales and service teams regarding addition of new accounts
Performs other related duties and assumes other related responsibilities as may be assigned by senior management
SERVICING:
Prepares and maintains daily service route sheets for all service representatives; including building and splitting routes as volumes increase.
Updates store information using Salesforce software; reviews notes and follows up with missed consignments
Updates and optimizes routes on Salesforce and mapping software
Inspects the work of service representatives by scoring them according to the service delivery model
Responds promptly and appropriately to service related issues, both verbally and in written communication
Provides service reports regarding missed consignments and CODs
Sets up computers, tablets, printers, phones and/or software accounts for new employees
Collects and reconciles all monies with drivers, cross referenced to their route sheet
Maintain cash log and deposits funds into appropriate accounts as directed
Provides technical support and covers routes as needed
INVENTORY:
Receives supplies, equipment, and materials and properly secures the inventory room
Trains service representatives on proper inventory loading, inventory control, and invoicing procedures
Ensures incoming materials are inspected against orders for correctness, quantity, type and damages
Prepares necessary paperwork to ensure proper accounting of inventory
Maintains organization and cleanliness in the inventory room
Completes daily inventory audits on service representatives and brand ambassadors
Submits weekly reports regarding products that are returned from partners, samples given out and other exceptions.
ANNUAL SALARY: $55K $65K, plus full benefits, and performance bonuses.
