INVENTORY, PURCHASING, & SUPPLY MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inventory, Purchasing & Supply Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day inventory, material and supply purchasing order operations of the Manoa Botanicals LLC dba Noa Botanicals production facility and retail locations in accordance with state and local laws, and standards set by Mānoa Botanicals LLC. The Inventory, Purchasing & Supply Manager provides support to Department Mangers to ensure that they have all the necessary supplies to operate their respective departments. This position is responsible for maintaining storage areas at multiple locations, ordering and receiving all inventory and products, arranging deliveries, and maintaining facility compliance and cleanliness. The Inventory, Purchasing & Supply Manager must maintain a professional appearance, organized work environment and facility appearance. This position reports directly to the Controller.

This position is not eligible for relocation assistance; local applicants preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

CORE JOB DUTIES (includes but not limited to)

Inventory Control

  • Plans and executes proper and timely ordering of all production inputs, merchandise, and office supplies;
  • Facilitates inventory counting and disbursement for opening, closing, and inventory transfers;
  • Obtains product information for education and sales purposed on all products carried at Noa Botanicals;
  • Oversees and adjusts day-to-day inventory systems based on volume and workflow efficiency;
  • Organizes, manages, and oversees in weekly physical inventory counts;
  • Completes inventory procedure using BioTrack and QuickBooks system and respond to any discrepancies by notifying the location’s management and investigating reasons for the discrepancy.

Vendor Relations:

  • Acts as an ambassador of the Noa Botanicals brand and provides superior service and communication with vendors.
  • Responds to all product complaints, requests, returns, concerns, suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts; and
  • Oversee orders and deliveries to ensure accurate order information and timeliness of deliveries.

Reports and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, orders, sales, and returns in accordance with the State of Hawaii and the standards set by Manoa Botanicals LLC;
  • Maintain inventory control system and perform daily counts of all marijuana and marijuana products in the facility;
  • Provide regular inventory and sales reports to the Controller.

Qualifications and Skills

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Two or more years of experience in a position with managerial and inventory responsibilities is desirable.
  • Knowledge of State of Hawaii laws, regulations and rules related to medical cannabis.
  • Experience with the Biotrack/POS system and Quickbooks Enterprise inventory preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Windows based software and point of sale applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age as required by state statute.
  • Must pass state and federal criminal and fingerprint background checks, per applicable requirements set forth under state statute.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have reliable transportation; flexibility in scheduling.
  • This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).
