The Membership Coordinator collaborates with the Membership Manager, Events Staff, and others to streamline logistics around membership and events and assist in other clerical duties as needed.

The Membership Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Handling routine communications such as answering phone calls and responding to messages directed to NCIA’s general email account;
  • Daily tasks such as updating member information in NCIA’s Association Management System, sending emails, and maintaining various databases associated with membership and event activities;
  • Manage the printing and stuffing of all mass mailings that originate from NCIA’s Denver office;
  • Working with NCIA’s Accounting Department to update member payment info, as needed;
  • Printing and copying various documents as needed;
  • Assisting the executive director with his scheduling and travel itinerary;
  • Assist the Events Department with packing and shipping materials through the UPS web portal in order to keep up with a robust events schedule;
  • Occasionally work onsite at events, including registration and event clean-up/tear-down; and
  • Assist NCIA’s executive director and all departments with various projects as required.

The Membership Coordinator reports to NCIA’s Membership Manager but also takes direction from Events Department staff as well as the executive director. As a regular, full-time employee, the Membership Coordinator is eligible to participate in NCIA’s benefit plans as they may exist from time to time in accordance with the terms of the plans.
