While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud when working in the production and packaging departments. The noise level in the general office space is usually moderate.Physical DemandsThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of management experience in a food production environment.
You must have experience working in a cGMP environment, and meet quality and hygiene requirements that would be common in food manufacturing.
Passion for working handsâon with colleagues on the production floor.
Excellent communication, conflict management, decision-making, motivational, organizational, process improvement and leadership skills.
Ability to recruit, lead, coach and develop employees.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
General awareness of medical cannabis industry is helpful.
