Key Responsibilities

RISE Brands Inc. is seeking a highly motivated self-starter as a Regional Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will use a consultative sales approach with a focus on consumer experience and have deep product knowledge in both flower and concentrates with the ability to use creative solutions to overcome objections and address challenges that face many manufacturers and dispensaries.

This is a field sales role where you will be working remotely while reporting and working with a team across multiple locations in California. Your territory will be from Santa Barbara to San Diego with a particular focus on the Greater Los Angeles area. This role will require you to wear many hats including but not limited to business development, account management, project management, cold calling, email marketing, customer on site visits, contract negotiations, SOP development, reporting, people and process management.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Deep knowledge on retail/dispensary side and current relationships with legal and compliant dispensaries
  • Ability to curate menus for dispensaries and educate manufacturers on best practices * 3+ years of sales experience
  • 1+ years of management experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate proven sales track record
  • Must have their own vehicle for personal transportation
  • Existing relationships with legal dispensary
  • Public speaking with comfort presenting to a variety of different audiences
  • Passion for cannabis and the intricacies of this industry (does not have to be a user)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Access to cost competitive local supply chain
  • Experience working with a CRM of ERP (Salesforce or other enterprise sales platforms)
  • PR experience
  • Underpromise, overdeliver mentality
  • Ability to manage 5 direct reports
  • Ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in relevant field and/or MBA (additional experience considered in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged
  • Experience working with a well known manufacturer/flower provider or;
  • Experience working with another distributor and proven track record of doing so or;
  • Experience in distribution/selling alcohol, wine or coffee
