Overview

A rapidly-growing retail hydroponics store is looking for sales representatives to manage commercial cannabis cultivation accounts in the following areas: Northern California,
Southern California, Washington, Oregon, and Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to exhibit cultivation, nutrient, and equipment knowledge in a sales role with a
good base salary and excellent commissions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Describes the benefits of an array of hydroponics equipment and nutrients
  • Coordinates intimately with marketing and sales teams
  • Establishes foothold for the retail chain in the commercial cultivation sector
  • Generates new customer base within business to business sales
  • Ensures client retention with careful consideration for established clientele
  • Accurately foresee changes in the marketplace
  • Understand competition and act accordingly
  • Engage the cannabis community with “outside the box” thinking
  • Work hand-in- hand with marketing teams in unified campaigns
  • Maintain detailed records/metrics of sales performances

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of hydroponics equipment and nutrients
  • Has established customer base and network in the cannabis industry
  • Motivated self-starter
  • 2 years of experience in hydroponics industry sales strongly desired
  • B.A. in business or similar is a major plus
  • Computer literacy: MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Passionate about indoor gardening/horticulture
  • Takes pride in meeting/surpassing sales goals
